Cory Berning pitched two solid relief innings and hit a double, and Giovanni DiGiacomo had two hits and two RBIs to pace Naples in a 7A regional quarterfinal Wednesday. Jaret LaCagnina earned the win for the Eagles (25-4), who will face Venice in the regional semifinals Tuesday.

Ida Baker won its fifth in a row as it defeated Lely 5-0 in a 6A regional quarterfinal. The Bulldogs (22-5) will take on Barron Collier in a regional semifinal Tuesday.
