Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, April 19th, 2016

Angel Ojeda earned the win as Lake Placid scored in the five runs in the bottom of the fifth to beat DeSoto County in a 5A-12 semifinal. The Green Dragons (10-14) move on to Thursday’s championship.

Evangelical Christian won its second in a row as it defeated Community School 3-0 in 3A-6 semifinal. The second-seeded Sentinels (20-6) take on top-ranked Canterbury in Thursday’s championship.

Barron Collier rebounded from two straight losses to beat Golden Gate 10-0 in a 6A-12 semifinal and move on to Thursday’s championship against Lely.
