Reed Harris earned the win as Cape Coral rallied for a run in the fourth to take the lead for good in a 3-2 win over Cypress Lake in a 6A-11 quarterfinal Monday. The sixth-seeded Seahawks (13-13) advance to face second-seeded Mariner in a semifinal today.
Evangelical Christian walked off on St. John Neumann, scoring in the bottom of the seventh to win 9-8 in a battle in a 3A-6 quarterfinal. Ben Specht got the win as the second-seeded Sentinels (19-6) move on to face third-seeded Community School of Naples in a semifinal today.
