Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, March 8th, 2016

Estero scored four runs in the top of the first and made them hold up as it survived a comeback by Naples to win 4-3 on Tuesday in a 7A-12 matchup. The win keeps the Wildcats (6-4) perfect in the district at 4-0. Josh Winckowski earned the win, and Nate Gillen got the save.

Oasis came up with a run in the top of the eighth to edge Gateway 11-10 in a wild game in which the teams combined for 24 hits and 10 errors. The Sharks (6-5) won their second in a row and first in 4A-5.

Sarasota Christian exploded for six runs in the bottom of the second to turn up the heat on Gulf Coast HEAT en route to an 11-0 win, their first this year, in a 2A-6 game.
