Tylor Vetton blasted a home run in the third inning that held up as the winning run in LaBelle’s 1-0 win over Lake Placid on Monday. It was the third win in a row for the Cowboys (13-4).

Island Coast limited Ida Baker to two hits in a 7-1 upset in 6A-11. It was the fifth win in a row for the Gators (8-5) after a 3-5 start. The loss was the second in a row for the Bulldogs (10-2), both in 6A-11. The Bulldogs are still at the top of the district, however.
