Lely extended its winning streak to five games as it survived a shootout with North Fort Myers and came away with a 17-11 victory Thursday. The Trojans (5-1) overcame a 6-3 deficit with six runs of their own in the top of the third and then built a 17-7 advantage in the top of the sixth before allowing four runs in the bottom of the inning.
Mariner snapped a two-game skid by coming out on fire from the start with a 10-0 lead en route to an 11-6 win over Riverdale. Andrew Patton was the winning pitcher.
Barron Collier evened its record at 4-4 by beating Fort Myers Senior 3-1.
