Fort Myers earned a big district win on Tuesday, holding off #1 Venice 4-3 thanks to a four-run fifth inning. Cameron Wademan was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and also pitched a scoreless inning for the win on the mound. Fort Myers (8-9) secured the third seed in 7A-11 at 2-3, while the Indians (14-4) will face Charlotte on Thursday with the top seed in the district on the line.
